
The ad above with the subdomain "nokia-mobile-phones" goes to the page "www.top10co.uk" which clearly doesn't include such a subdomain:

Good Point.
The bolding is obviously a clear advantage anyway, but I do wonder whether there is a keyword relevance advantage also?
For instance, many affiliates use the folder to add in trademarked keywords, to try and boost their QS/Relevance when bidding on these keywords. Other advertisers fill it with any old fluff to increase QS too.
I've always suspected that a folder keyword in display url isn't weighted as highly for relevance as the kw being in the domain. If this is the case the subdomain tip might just get round this.
