Bio: Lisa is the Head of Search at Base One, which she set up after returning from maternity leave in 2005. She is truly dedicated and slightly crazy about Search Engine Marketing. In 2007, Lisa won "B2B Newcomer of the Year" at the B2B Marketing Awards 2007. This year (May 2008) she won "Best Use of Technology by Under 30-Year-Old Woman" at the Blackberry Women & Technology Awards.
Lisa speaks regularly at Search Industry conferences such as Search Engine Strategies (SES) and Search Marketing Expo (SMX) and contributes regularly to publications offline and online. In 2007 Lisa set up and founded the SEO Chicks blog, which has had great success in the Search Community. Even her fiance works in search. In fact, don’t be surprised if her next child has the middle name “Google”.
